Our aluminum pool gazebo finally met its demise courtesy of Dorian. (I might or might not have secured it well on purpose.) I’d like to build a more permanent structure in its place.
Nothing too elaborate. Around 14×12 and it must allow for interior rods to be hung for curtains and mosquito netting.
I’m considering using black heavy duty brackets for assembly for aesthetics, but more so for disassembly (Army life) and hinges on the roof panels so they can swing down in the event of another hurricane rolling through.
Thoughts?
My inspiration . . .
I have that Gozebo, 14 x 14 cedar wood from costco. Took us 1 day for prep work, 1 day to unbox and remove wrappers & 1 day to put up using a team of 4 helpers.
What do you think comparable cost would be to build it rather than buy it?
