Did you know plywood could look this chic? PureBond® has recently released a new rough sawn plywood product and we’re pretty much in love with it! Sheri did an amazing job building this bar cabinet – I love how compact it is, yet she doesn’t have to sacrifice an ounce of functionality.
I mean, just look at that interesting rough sawn pattern on those boards. Isn’t it beautiful?
This is the perfect beginner project – it’s a basic box with a hinged front and you can build it out of a single sheet of 3/4-inch plywood. If you’re looking for more convenience and ease of use, you could opt for the smaller 2×4 ft. project panels simply because they’re much easier to manage and ship than a full 8-foot sheet of plywood. The Home Depot has a convenient “ship-to-store” feature where you can purchase the panels online and have them shipped to your local store for free! Doesn’t get any easier than that, amiright? If it were any easier, this DIY bar cabinet would build itself!
Sheri wanted to have a surface to prepare drinks, so we brainstormed on the design and came up with this clever solution. The front is hinged so that it folds down to give her space to pour and mix drinks, then folds up neatly when not in use.

Hi Jen, I’m Sondra and I have always wanted to do woodworking. I did a little with my dad when I was younger and before he died. Please teach me your skills. I’m looking to start with a Wooden Garbage can for my kitchen. I can’t find one that I really like. Please give me some ideas. I look forward to getting started and learning more about woodworking.
