What’s better than celebrating the holidays with a delicious Christmas Mimosa? Who’s with me?!
Hello friends! It is Aniko back here from Place of My Taste with the last post for this year. Wow! It’s hard to believe that 2018 has come to an end. We had such a busy and memorable year with so many happenings. I hope it was a good one for you all too!
Today I am sharing a super simple recipe with you guys that will put you in the festive holiday spirit. The recipe is so simple that I was debating if I should even share it, but then I thought you might like it as much as I do, so why not to share it?! This holiday drink is one of my favorite festive cocktails.
Oh and of course… you know how much I love to take photographs of my (pretty!) food and drinks so that was a fun step in between making and gobbling down this Christmas Mimosa. Surprisingly, this year the color RED was the winner for me. I love neutral colors, but this season I decorated one of my Christmas trees with a deep red and emerald green ornaments. It’s such a fabulous color combo for the holidays. And this drink also has such a beautiful color that it speaks for itself.
Okay, so back to this delish Christmas Mimosa.
It has the fruity sparkle with some seasonal twists that makes this easy drink really scrumptious.
As you see, I didn’t serve this pretty drink in champagne flutes. But you can absolutely do so! There is a story behind these vintage, adorable glasses… Earlier this year, we visited a local hidden gem restaurant/cocktail bar in the city while we were out on a date night, and there they served their super fancy cocktails in cute, vintage glasses. I fell in love with the idea, and the next day I found myself thrifting for vintage glasses. And here we are, these glasses became my favorite cocktail glasses.
The only few ingredients that you need to make this drink are:
- champagne
- cranberry juice
I love the traditional Mimosa with orange juice, but I also like to mix things up.
Here is the FULL recipe for the Christmas Mimosa:

I chose to add some fresh cranberries and dropped some pomegranate seeds to the bottom of the glasses, which added a little twist to this yummy drink. The rosemary is just for garnishing… no worries; you won’t have to drink that!:-)
Pin it for later!
I hope this festive Christmas Mimosa got you guys in the holiday spirit! Thanks for reading along and have the happiest of holidays!
Cheers,
Aniko
