About the Project:

Here are some photos of the table I made with your plans. I made a couple changes though. First I used rough sawn cedar which changed the dimensions a bit (nominal vs common). Second, I didn’t think the 24 inch hole would have been big enough for an XL BGE, so I modified the plan to make 24 inch cross aprons rather than deck to the table top following your plan — and if you use a nest or cinder block under the egg that takes away another 2 inches. Which bring the ash cleanout access somewhat higher than I liked, but it was only a minor issue – you can buy hardware that makes ash cleanup easy anyway. Very happy and note that motorcycle cover which works great to cover it all. Thanks again!
