But you had me at “PetProof.” This pet-friendly carpet is perfect for families with kids and pets. My kids actually do more damage than Watson does. #justsaying
Kids have opposable thumbs, after all. That means they can handle markers and popsicles and everything sticky.
We have yet to test out the innovative stain resistant feature, but give us a day or two – I’m pretty sure one of these tiny humans will spill something sooner or later. I’ll keep you posted.
This pet-friendly carpet isn’t only beautiful, but it’s super soft underfoot too. There are a lot of patterns, textures, and colors to choose from as well. We ultimately chose the Sawyer pattern, but the Scarlet was also a favorite. I love that the diamond pattern adds a bit of texture and interest to an otherwise plain rug.
I think Watson is pretty pleased with our new pet-friendly rug. As soon as we laid it down, he made himself right at home. He looks so comfy – maybe this means he’ll stay off my sofa.

I had no idea that you could get their carpets as a custom size rug. That’s awesome!
You can get any carpet bound and then you can have a rug cleaning service pick it up, clean it and bring it all fresh. No worry about it being wet or damp and your wood furniture sucking up damp, or your metal legs rusting. It’s terrific. You use the same folks that do Persian or antique rugs. They can do a much better job than any rug person at your house.
Just before you buy carpet have then come and tell you if they can clean the size — take a sample to them is best. They usually can do pure wool to polyester. I love pure wool rugs because they will be around for generations.

I forgot to say – just love Watson. I had a Ginger like him. Wonderful breed of dog. Never knew how guarding she was until someone came in my house unannounced and unwanted. I thought she was a big baby. In fact we use to laugh — if you just walked in – she hardly looked up. But if someone knocked – it was like “Woof Mom someone’s here”. We said we have to put sign on the door to burglars – please knock.
I loved her wrinkles between her eyes — Watson has them too.
I was looking at Pinterest for durable carpet for large dogs.
Up popped a Rhodesian Ridgeback. My girl Fiona, a 2 yr old Ridgie approves of the carpet.
