We’re just 2 days shy of 40 weeks! I couldn’t have asked for a better pregnancy. It’s been truly a joy and Adam and I cannot WAIT to meet our little Eggroll! We’ve been so incredibly blessed. The Dr. says she could make her appearance any day now, so I feel like a ticking time bomb. I wake up every morning wondering, ‘is this the day?’
I’m a bit anxious about labor and delivery and my capability to withstand the pain. Hopefully all those childbirth classes will come in handy… fingers crossed! We are all ready and rarin’ to go… the bags are packed, baby gear is all put together and ready to receive Eggroll, the house is immaculate, the dog is bathed… now we’re just playing the waiting game. Will she be over eager like her daddy and come early? Or will she be fashionably late, like her mommy? Only time will tell…
Hi, my name is Jen and I am a pumpkin smuggler.

LOOK AT HOW CUTE YOU ARE with your little pumpkin!!! Fingers crossed I will look like that when I am 40 weeks!!! Best of luck as you wait it out!!!
Felicity says
You look adorable! Good luck! She'll be here before you know it (not that that makes the wait any easier).

You look like you have dropped. Your belly looks like you stuck a giant egg under your shirt. You look adorable!
Briel K. says
Haha look at your belly! So funny/cute. Have you decided on a name for her yet or are you waiting to meet her before you narrow it down?
Ashley says
Yeah you're definitely the most stylish almost-mom ever.

Briel,
We're still waiting to see if the names we've chosen will 'fit' her!

You are such a cute and stylish mom!
And on an unrelated note, I'm so glad you mentioned using a french cleat for your headboard! We recently used one to hang something in our guest room during a mini makeover and so far it has worked really well!

You are so cute – I WISH I had been so put together in my last few days of pregnancy. I just felt like a hot mess.
Good look with labor! My advice is keep your options open. I wanted a natural birth but chose to play it by ear… and I would have been so upset if I hadn't. Labor was way too fast for me to deal with without drugs and I'm glad I didn't feel guilty later about not fulfilling my birth plan to the letter. I even got the epi I swore I wouldn't do but I have no regrets. Hoping you are just as happy with yours no matter how it goes! Sounds like you have done more preparation for labor than me and hopefully that works in your favor as well.
I'm also jealous that your house is immaculate.
