Okay, so I goofed. My brother-in-law Donny wanted me to build him a dresser and specifically requested 3 narrow drawers on top, and 6 large, deep drawers on the bottom, similar to this dresser. Well, as I was drawing up the plan in Sketchup, I was snuggled up on the couch with my main squeeze, watching the new House of Cards season (oh my goodness, those beautiful built-in bookshelves in the Underwood’s home, right?! And that wainscoting in Frank’s study? *Swoon), that I completely forgot about the 3 drawers on top and sketched up this plan with only two smaller drawers on the top. Doh! So my goof is your gain! I have these plans with no plan to actually build this dresser, so I’m happy to add them to my growing catalog. If you build this, I’d love to see it!
I’ll be back with both the correct plans for Donny’s dresser, as well as the step-by-step building photos. Wish me luck! Back to the drawing board… (literally!)
How about you? Do you watch House of Cards? Isn’t Claire simply stunning? And can I please have her entire wardrobe? That would be stupendous.

Just built this piece. Well parts of it. changed the front face a bit and built every piece of it out of solid oak. Turned out beautiful.
