My husband carries a flashlight EVERYWHERE. Is that weird? Maybe it’s a military thing. Well, he LOVED these new Husky LED lights when I unboxed them. The magnets on the back make it super convenient to mount when he’s working on the truck. The clip on the back of the Clip Light serves as a stand so you can set it up at the perfect angle for your needs, and it’s about the size of a cell phone which makes it the perfect size to carry in your backpack, purse, or pocket.
Adam had to go to field training and took both of these lights for about two weeks, as he camped out in a tent somewhere on Fort Hood. On the drive out to the field site, the truck in front of him blew a tire and it was 9 p.m. and getting dark. He pulled these babies out of his bag and mounted both to the side of the truck using the magnets on the back. This freed up hands from holding flashlights and allowed him to change the tire easily.
We both love how bright these things are. I was surprised by how bright they are, considering they’re powered by three AAA batteries. We haven’t had to change out the batteries that came with the lights so the 3-hour run time is legit.
The hook on the Utility Light makes it easy to hang the light from a tree branch or a belt loop… Adam hangs it from his t-shirt and struts around the house like he’s Tony Stark.
